Country- Western Events

Whether you’re planning an evening of country around a cozy bonfire or an indoor Western ball, feel free to get in touch. We can offer you a choice between traditional country from the era of early Johnny Cash, Boxcar Willie, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and Joan Baez and the new country music currently topping the American billboard charts. We’ll be glad to come as a two- or three-man band (keyboard/multiple vocals and, if you like, with electric or Western guitar) or a larger six-person “team”. We play for line dancers, for fans of the oldies, rock and “normal” country and we’re happy to go through the program with you ahead of time; we’ve got plenty of choice.

Over the last few years, country-themed weddings have enjoyed enormous popularity. My colleagues and I would love to make your special day even more so with a selection of Country style music.

And don’t forget that I’m also available to come alone with my guitar to create a lovely Western atmosphere.

Wedding Ceremonies

What kind of wedding are you considering? In the Renaissance style, surrounded by castle ruins, or the American style, on a meadow under the blue sky, or perhaps on a ship? Maybe you’re thinking of something traditional in a church or simply before the justice of the peace? Whichever direction you go, I’ll be glad to provide musical accompaniment for your magical day. Whether you have a specific song in mind you’d love to hear or no idea what music should be played, just let me know and we’ll work it out. I’m open to pretty much any musical style and I’ll do my darnedest to make sure the music goes off just the way you dreamed it would. I’ve got an enormous repertoire of songs and musical pieces for any occasion. If you like, I’ll be glad to bring along someone to accompany me on the piano or guitar or provide a second voice for duets. We’ll do it just the way you’re thinking of. And if you’re in need of some contacts for your wedding, anniversary, or bachelors’ & bachelorettes’ party (like photographers, dove breeders, stores that sell or rent bridal gowns and wedding suits, etc.), just give me a call! I got plenty of ‘em.

Folk and Acoustic Music

My acoustic musicians (guitar, bass, cajòn, mandolin) and I will take you back to the world of the 60s and 70s. Well-loved songs like those of The Byrds, Smokie, Simon & Garfunkel, Mary Hopkin, The Mammas & the Pappas, Peter, Paul & Mary, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and John Denver, mixed with some Irish Folk and newer pieces by Haley Westenra, Amy McDonald etc. in the acoustic style (we’ll discuss your favorites when we talk) are a treat for the ear and compel listeners to get on the dance floor or give wing to their dreams. The harmonies touch the soul and take your guests back the spirit of this wonderful era for a while.

Dance and Show Music for Your Celebration

If you’re thinking of everything “from ABBA to Zappa”, we’ve got just the thing. We’ll entertain any newlyweds, anniversary couple, or birthday boy or girl and their guests musically as a duet or complete dance and show band and keep the joint on its feet. Our repertoire’s got every popular genre, like oldies (50s, 60s and 70s), disco, German schlager, the music of the 80s, rock, your favorite modern and older pop tunes, country music, and some Italian and French classics, and the list goes on and on.

My pianist and I will set the right tone for your cocktail bar, hotel lounge or any other event that calls for this ambiance. We’ve got an enormous repertoire and we’re glad to work out the playlist with you beforehand.

Private Parties at Home

You’re planning a little (or not so little) soiree at home - for a birthday, surprise party, engagement, anniversary, or “just ‘cause” - and you’d like to enhance it with a little live music? It would be my pleasure to make a few song suggests that fit such an occasion and that I’d like to perform for you. And it’s no problem to bring along musical accompaniment if you’d like (pianist, guitarist, etc.).
